WHEN I WAS LITTLE : Childhood
This collection draws its inspiration from that precious moment when a child encounters the world and fearlessly expresses their emotions. I can still vividly recall my own childhood, eagerly anticipating the kind of career I would have and the person I would become as an adult. It seemed that I always longed to be grown up. Back then, as an innocent and unknowing child, I had the luxury of focusing solely on myself.
Yet now, as an adult, I find myself yearning to recapture the essence of being a child. I envy those who engage in pure play, free from worries and fears, simply doing what they desire. Through this collection, my aim was to emphasize the unfiltered energy of youth and provide a glimpse into the liberated inner world of children.
To convey these sentiments, I incorporated scribble, doodle, and origami motifs, complemented by feminine silhouettes and fabrics. Through this combination, I sought to express the desire of a child to grow up and the yearning of an adult to rediscover the boundless joy of childhood.
